Kim F. Davis

Kim Davis was born and raised in Granite Bay, California where she bred and rode horses on her parents’ horse ranch. A love of performance horses drew Kim to the show arena as a competitor starting at the age of four. After decades of winning in the cutting and reined cow horse disciplines, Kim obtained her law degree to compete in the legal arena.
Kim graduated class salutatorian from Lincoln Law School in 1997 and has practiced law in California for seventeen years. She has dedicated most of her career to assisting members of the performance horse industries with legal and regulatory challenges. Kim also serves these clients through a broad spectrum of litigated matters involving injuries, wrongful death, premises liability, public entity liability, and environmental group challenges.
“What is most rewarding is that the majority of the people that come to me for help were sent to me by a family member or close friend that I helped in past years. I remain thankful for their trust in me to take care of their friends and loved ones, and I work diligently to earn that trust with every case I handle.”
Kim believes that her years of showing horses prepared her to be an aggressive, over-prepared, ultra-competitive, and relentless advocate for her clients.
Kim’s husband Whit, and their son Bear, join her in all horse endeavors, from trail riding on the weekends to competition in the cutting arena.
